Parallax Software 
Founded in 1993 by Matt Toschlog and Mike Kulas, Parallax developed the popular Descent series. In 1997, Parallax was split into two companies: Outrage Entertainment, led by Matt Toschlog; and Volition, led by Mike Kulas. Both companies were purchased by THQ in 2002.
