Spit Wad Willy  1993

Spit Wad Willy is an extremely simple game in which the titular protagonist must shoot bouncing balls with spit wads without being hit by them. The balls bounce a bit lower after each bounce until Willy can no longer get under them to shoot them. Most balls split into smaller balls, dropping power-ups such as speeding up Willy, slowing down the balls, and extra lives. Sometimes robots show up to attack Willy. Willy can duck as well as jump. Jumping into bonuses doubles their effects. The author unwisely included copyright-infringing audio clips from The Simpsons, Looney Tunes, and Aliens. There are 24 levels in this game, with only the first 7 playable in the shareware version.
