Cyberdogs  1994

Cyberdogs is a top-down 2D shooter, but uses a line-of-sight system that hides any part of the map that is behind something the hero can't see through, such as walls and large objects. One or two players play a mercenary who must embark on a series of missions to earn money. Sometimes the ojbective is to collect items, or kill a certain number of enemies, but you basically want to shoot anything that moves. Weapons and armor can be purchased between levels, so money management is important. The automap feature is very welcome, given how little of the level is normally visible, and there is an alert notice when an enemy is nearby.
