In the shareware version of God of Thunder there's a preview picture of the full game when quitting the game. In that picture there's two scenes of the game: The 2nd boss battle and Hall of Loki. The scene of that Hall of Loki does not appear in the game (also notice Thor's brown armor). It looks like the big building at the end of part 3: Looking for Loki, but looks different.
What do you think? Could it be an early version of the game or the registered version before the freeware release?
I also found few odd pictures (red and brown worms) while using Wombat game tool.

Interesting. Maybe that level didn't make the cut? I'll try to ask the author.

Nice findings! It's always cool to dig up some leftover or unused stuff from the game files, especially from a shareware version that could have been released before the full game was completed (same applies to demos, of course
).

Found two more unused screens from part 1:
I used Wombat tool to find these screens. Only walls and obstacles are displayed in these pics. It would be great if the GOT author releases a level editor for this game. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

For the record I intend to add level editing support for GoT to Camoto, but it's still a little way off yet. I want to get the level editor mostly finished before I start adding more games, but GoT is pretty high up on the list.

Shouldn't hurt to contact that guy to visit this thread. Given that he's released the funny early betas of Jetpack and Squarez it's most likely he'll provide some insight into the changes.VortiX wrote:It would be great if the GOT author releases a level editor for this game.

It sounds like you're talking about Adam Pedersen's website. God of Thunder was written by Ron Davis.
