any problems running this can usually be solved by running the patch before running it.

there has been an updated patch released, but I can't remember where I got it from.

I never really got into this one. I think I always wanted it to be just another Duke Nukem, and it wasn't, so I was disappointed.

I liked the dialog (what little there was).

Rescued woman: Oh no, look what those aliens have done to our beautiful city!
Snake Logan: Yeah, it's a real pile.
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Pretty impressive, considering this game was put together mostly by just one guy. The graphics were considered mediocre when it came out though and it was mostly overlooked. It's also notorious for being very buggy. Still, it has some fun levels and interesting design. And it's freeware nowadays (thanks to Apogee and the efforts of Joe Siegler) so you can't go wrong with the price.
