Recently I've stumbled upon this German website (you may have noticed I've already linked to it elsewhere) the aim of which is to document all known releases of video games:
http://www.onlinegamesdatenbank.de/index.php
By contrast with RGB Classic Games, the releases in the database are mostly commercial, not shareware (with the exception of shareware editions that were sold on floppies or CDs), and the main focus is generally on physical media releases, not electronic distribution. Where possible, the database provides images of the package and the medium itself, in addition to the usual release date, region and other basic information.

Re: Online Games DatenBank
Funny coincidence, I actually know that website. A few weeks ago (March 1), I asked one of their members (cenobite) for the european Daggerfall demo, because it seemed like he might have it. Unfortunately he didn't

Well, perhaps the demo will eventually have been found somewhere else
