I probably only think this because it's the first modern platformer I remember playing on the PC, but this game is amazingly great. I compare every other platformer to this game, and while there are a few that are equal there are none better.

I played Duke Nukem II first, and it was freaking awesome! The graphics are so much better than Duke I. I don't think there's quite as much exploring as there is in Duke I (though still lots of bonuses). Duke I is a good game, but after Duke II, I really couldn't go back.
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Duke II was a really good game too. I would argue that there's actually more side-trip exploring you can do in Duke II, especially due to fun tricks like using the flamethrower as a jetpack. I only ever played the first episode of Duke II, though, and I played all three of the first game.

The original! This is one of my all-tive favorites. Very cool game that never gets old. GET IT, IT'S A MUST HAVE. (If you have Duke Nukem 3D, chances are a copy of this game is on your DN3D cd-rom, along with Duke II. Check 'em out!)
