I have to create a forum thread in order to acquire a forum ID for games that I add to the site. After creating the thread, the game could be added within a few hours, days, weeks, months, and sometimes never (the thread gets deleted), depending on how much work there is to do and how much time I have available to do it. This is the only way to do it at the moment, and probably always will be. There's no need to comment on the fact that there is a forum thread for a game that hasn't been added to the site yet.
