Old DOS Shareware Truck Driving Simulator [Big Rig]

Hey everyone, there's an old shareware game I remember playing years ago which let you simulate the life of a truck driver - deciding on your speed limit, when to stop and sleep, routes to take - things like that. I remember it being mostly text-based, although there might have been some crude images as well. I have fond memories of the game and I really wish I could remember what it was called so any help would be much appreciated.

It's called "BIG RIG". There's also an earlier version (with no colors) called "TRUCKER"

I can not find any registration information on these games. :(

That's it, thanks! I love this site, it's so great to get to go back and play stuff like Big Rig, the Hugo games and Teen Agent which I played so much as a kid. I miss the days when you'd get a CD full of random shareware, not knowing what you'd find.

Hi Leilei:
Re:Trucker.zip: it contains one file - trucker.bas, which is not
a valid .bas file. Does it run on your system? If yes, what OS,
and what Basic Language Interpreter? If no, where did you find
it?

It's a valid BAS, but remember that it's encoded differently when you use GW-BASIC/BASICA to write/load BAS files which is what was used at the time. You gotta love '80s compression.
