RGB Classic Games Forum

I am into old games and downloaded the original Populous game. I keep hearing it is a great game but I can't play or find a guide. No matter what I do the people just stand there. I can flatten or bump up the land, place a cross and mess up the land with disaster and that's it.
The closest I heard on how to start is to build houses, well there is no opinion for that and flattening the land, as I said, doesn't make anyone move.

Can someone help me with this?
