Hey Guys,
So I really want to play the secret of monkey island on my old toshiba 430cdt running Windows 98 Second Edition... Is there anyplace I could get a free full version of this game? Everywhere I look I either find Windows 10 compatible or the weird special edition... I do not care if it is an iso or just the game files themselves... (preferably an iso though)...

The short version is, you can't: Monkey Island is not a freeware game. It is against the rules here to discuss ways of obtaining illegal pirated versions of commercial games, but of course Google/DuckDuckGo is your friend.
I do not know if the GOG special edition actually includes the original DOS game. If you want a legal copy I guess Amazon or eBay are the way to go.
Maybe there is a fan remake or Monkey Island fangame floating around, this is the closest you get to a legit free game. Again, no idea if it will run on your PC.
