Hi all,

I just added some support for Jill of the Jungle to Camoto, and noticed a few things in the map level of episode 1 that I hadn't seen before. (Sorry it's using the EGA graphics because I haven't added the VGA palette yet.)

I was aware of how to get to the secret level (the one that's blocked by a gem) but although it seems somehow familiar I don't think I ever managed to get into the "Tim 1992" area. And I definitely didn't notice that extra area up above the entrance to level 11. IIRC you get a highjump powerup after completing the secret level, so perhaps that is required to access that section.

I guess everyone here was already aware of this though

I haven't played Jill of the Jungle that much (as compared to its "former" sequel Vinyl Goddess from Mars or Xargon), but I love how the designers would put real lots of secrets into the games back then, greatly increasing replay value

As someone somewhere said (about Command & Conquer, if memory serves), it's amazing how you can find out something new about a fifteen-something year old game you thought you knew inside out
