Great idea for remake

Post by Union of Soviets »

Hi,
I never find it for PC because it never made for it.That game is based on cartoon The Shoe people (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shoe_People and http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/s ... %D1%82.JPG) which I most like to watch when I was kid in 1990s 8-) There are tons of Spidermans, Mickey Mice, but noone Shoe people. It only made for Amstrad and ZX Spectrum and maybe some old retro non-IBM computers. I don't know to programming but I already made some graphic for eventually remake. If someone interesting for that only one more thing stayed to be done is to send request to James Driscoll, creator, for formal permission for non-commercial usage of his characters.

I had an illustrated book with two stories about them as a kid. Haven't watched the series though.

It gives you a good feeling when someone contacts you for permission. It gives a sense of recognition for what you have done.

There are a couple people I would like to thank for their works. For instance, I made a little funny game with the likeness of Superman and Thor in there. That is just one example. However, I hope the people know I am grateful otherwise I would not use it.

I think one of the best congratulations that a person can get out of life is that someone use their work(s). It shows what you have done is valuable and that you are worth something in life.

However, don't commit suicide just because it seems no one cares. Some of the top scientists in the world did not get recognized until they passed away. An example is one person from history changed the way we think about the world. That person set a course to travel the world and found it was round instead of flat. People who learned of the new way thought that person was crazy. I believe it was not until that person died that people finally accepted the new view!
