Can anybody recommend a good tutorial on programming in the TADS interactive fiction language, one that starts with a "hello world" program and gradually moves up into building complex worlds? I have just started dabbling with it, and would like to really sink my teeth into the language. Thanks.
As a side note, I messed around a bit with an example TADS world that had a door that was to remain
shut at all times. Out of curiosity, I made the door operable and when I went through it, I ended up
in a void where none of the directional commands would take me anywhere. I messed with
level editors and walk through walls codes in 3d games for years, falling into countless voids,
but this is the first time it happened to me in a text adventure. =)
Programming in the TADS language, a good tutorial?
