On your Dark Ages page you have the following cheat codes:
Cheat Codes

Customer Cheat

All keys need to be pressed at the same time:

[X] [T] [R] [A] - Gives you max ammo.
[N] [E] [X] [T] - Lets you warp to any level.

Debug Mode

Pressing [Z] [E] at the same time will put you into God mode and will let you activate the other debug mode key, which is [G]. Pressing that will reverse the gravity in the game.

But those are the cheat codes for Crystal Caves!

Hi Frenkel.

Thanks for pointing this out. I wanted to respond to this sooner, but I didn't immediately know what to do about it, so I didn't deal with it, and now months have passed.

The cheats come from Apogee/3DR's website, where you'll see that the cheat code page for Dark Ages (http://www.3drealms.com/cheat/darkages.html) is the same as the page for Crystal Caves (http://www.3drealms.com/cheat/crystalcaves.html). Obviously the codes don't work, and don't make sense for Dark Ages (the gravity doesn't reverse in this game, for instance). There are probably are cheat codes for Dark Ages, but they aren't on Apogee/3DR's website. I've removed the cheat codes from Dark Ages, and I've emailed Apogee about their error.

I've told Apogee already in 2002 that those cheats don't work. And again in 2004. Joe Siegler's reaction in 2004 was:
Uh, the ones on our page come from the original handout we used to send out with the game over a decade ago which were written by the original programmer.
Dark Ages has cheats that do work and they are in the Apogee FAQ.

You can still find an old version of the cheat code page in the web archive with the correct codes included. Try this link.

Disappointing that Joe never responded. It only took me 30 seconds to test them to see that they didn't work, and obviously couldn't work because S and R are Save and Restore. I've put the right codes on our site, but I haven't received a response from my email to Apogee/3DR.

Is there anyone now who handles public relations of the company? IIRC Joe left Apogee in 2009, and the site doesn't seem to be very actively maintained since.

I'm not sure if anyone "works" for Apogee any more. It could just be Scott and George at this point.

I think it is Scott, George and Bryan with Bryan doing stuff related to keeping the website "updated".
