Infidel  1994
DOS Shareware (partial game)
Developed by Infocom
Published by Activision
Genre: Interactive Fiction
User rating: 0.0 (0 votes)
Infidel is an interactive fiction adventure set in Egypt. The protagonist, a greedy Egyptologist in search of an undiscovered pyramid, is abandoned by his dig team and left in the desert without provisions. Now he must find the pyramid and enter it, surviving its traps and collecting its treasures. There's a definite Indiana Jones feel to this game. Like most games that use the Z-machine interpreter, Infidel was ported to almost every computer system of its era. The shareware demo can be played to the point of discovering the pyramid.
