The sequel to the cult classic horror FPS, Blood II takes place a century after the original in 2028. The Cabal has become a global corporation, and the Chosen must kill Gideon, its leader. Much more futuristic than its predecessor, Blood II takes place in a dystopian future with high tech weapons, in addition to traditional weapons like Caleb's sword and pistol. Blood II uses an original engine called LithTech 1.0, later versions of which have been used as the engine for a number of popular games, as recently as F.E.A.R.. The demo features level 6 and 7 of the first chapter, in which Caleb breaks into the Center for Disease Management, where CabalCo is creating plagues and performing twisted medical experiments. There are 4 chapters in this game, with only two levels of the first chapter playable in the shareware version.
