3D Realms are back! (well, kind of)

Post by MrFlibble »

After many months of (im)patient waiting, the new 3D Realms website is finally launched:
https://3drealms.com/news/3d_realms-is-back/

And, they're offering the all-new (well, in fact, quite classic) 3D Realms Anthology with all the Apogee/3DR games, plus more.

I bought the 3D Realms Anthology yesterday. Too bad it's download only. That box and CD kick ass!
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Wow nice! I see they have an anthology soundtrack too - are they original songs, existing remixes, new remixes, or what?

For those who missed it and might be interested, the 3DR Anthology is up on Steam now. It does not include the Keen or Wolfenstein titles though, instead you get Xenophage, Dark Ages and Balls of Steel. Also, a new version of the Duke Nukem Kill-A-Ton Collection has made its way on there, although I have to question what the point of that is, what with the Megaton Edition already being available on Steam.

As a side-note, if you've purchased the 3DR Anthology through the 3D Realms webstore, you can e-mail their support for a free Steam key, which is pretty nifty.
