Poor graphics, poor gameplay, poor level design, poor everything. Never liked this one. It was quite buggy on my system too.

The first episode wasn't bad, but I thought that the game got worse as it went along.

It had groovy music, 256 colors and a tongue-in-cheek style that was characteristic of games those days. The artwork wasn't very good though (especially the backgrounds), and the levels didn't feel well designed compared to Keen 5 and 6. It needed more polish.

I found the game(s) fun. Although I can agree that the level design wasn't very good, especially in some of those levels where there are heaps of blocks to destroy.

I do like the music though, very groovy 8-)

Very strange game in my opinion. I found it to be somewhat fun, but sometimes it just feels plain mediocre. Epic has certainly done better games, that's for sure.

BTW, some guy on YouTube (who goes by the name johnbjuice) has done a Let's Play series of Jill of the Jungle shareware: First episode (He also was previously working on an LP series of Jetpack! It's incomplete, but it's still worth a look)
